नई दिल्ली। (Bima Sakhi Yojana Launch) प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने सोमवार को हरियाणा के पानीपत से भारतीय जीवन बीमा निगम (LIC) की बीमा सखी योजना (Bima Sakhi Yojana) की शुरुआत की। इस योजना का उद्देश्य 18 से 70 वर्ष की 10वीं पास महिलाओं को प्रशिक्षित करना और वित्तीय रूप से सशक्त बनाना है।
बीमा सखी योजना की घोषणा करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा, “आज महिला सशक्तिकरण की दिशा में भारत एक और मजबूत कदम उठा रहा है। आज 9 तारीख है। शास्त्रों में नव अंक को बहुत शुभ माना जाता है। नव अंक नवदुर्गा की नव शक्तियों से जुड़ा है। हम सब साल में नवरात्र के नव दिन शक्ति की उपासना करते हैं आज का दिन भी नारी शक्ति की उपासना जैसा ही है।” उन्होंने कहा, “बीमा सखी योजना के माध्यम से 10वीं पास बहनों-बेटियों को प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएहा। उन्हें 3 साल तक आर्थिक मदद भी दी जाएगी। बीमा के सेक्टर से जुड़ा डाटा बताता है कि एलआईसी एजेंट हर साल पौने दो लाख रुपये से अधिक कमाई करते हैं। यानी हमारी बीमा सखियां भी इतना पैसा कमाएंगी।”
क्या है बीमा सखी योजना?
बीमा सखी योजना के तहत देशभर में एक लाख महिलाओं को एलआईसी एजेंट (LIC Agents) के तौर पर प्रशिक्षण किया जाएगा। इस योजना में हरियाणा की 8,000 महिलाएं शामिल हैं। तीन साल की विशेष ट्रेनिंग में सखियों को वित्तीय सहायता भी मिलेगी। इन महिलाओं को पहले साल हर महीने 7,000 रुपये, दूसरे साल 6,000 रुपये और तीसरे साल हर महीने 5,000 रुपये की वित्तीय सहायता भी मिलेगी, साथ ही वित्तीय साक्षरता और बीमा जागरूकता को बढ़ावा दिया जाएगा।
प्रशिक्षण के बाद ये महिलाएं एलआईसी एजेंट के रूप में काम कर सकती हैं। ग्रेजुएट बीमा सखियों को एलआईसी में डेवलपमेंट ऑफिसर बनने का भी मौका मिलेगा।
