हैदराबाद। तेलंगाना के वारंगल जिले में चोरों ने सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के एक बैंक में ही चोरी की बड़ी घटना को अंजाम दे दिया है। गैस कटर से खिड़की काटकर बैंक में घुसे चोर सोने के 19 किलोग्राम से अधिक आभूषण समेट ले गए। चोरी किए गए सोने की कीमत 13.6 करोड़ रुपये से भी ज्यादा बताई जा रही है।

पुलिस ने बताया है कि वारंगल जिले के रायपर्ती मंडल स्थित बैंक की शाखा में घुसकर चोरों ने मुख्य तिजोरी से करीब 19.5 किलोग्राम वजन के सोने के आभूषण चुरा लिये हैं। जिस बैंक में इतनी बड़ी चोरी की घटना हुई है उसके कर्मचारियों को मंगलवार को चोरी के बारे में जानकारी मिली है। इसके बाद उन्होंने पुलिस को इस घटना के बारे में सूचित किया और मामले की शिकायत दर्ज कराई। पुलिस ने जानकारी दी है कि बैंक का सीसीटीवी कैमरा भी क्षतिग्रस्त पाया गया है। चोर इतने ज्यादा शातिर थे कि वे बैंक से डिजिटल वीडियो रिकॉर्डर (डीवीआर) भी ले गए।

चोरों को पकड़ने के लिए पुलिस की चार टीमें गठित की गई हैं। मामले की जांच की जा रही है।
