पुलिस अधीक्षक हेमराज मीना ने सोमवार को प्रेस वार्ता में यह जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि शिब्ली नेशनल कालेज परीक्षा केंद्र में यूपीसीसीएससीआर (UPCCSCR) 2024-25 की परीक्षा संचालित की जा रही थी। केंद्राध्यक्ष के प्रार्थना पत्र के आधार पर 4 जनवरी को प्रथम पाली की परीक्षा में कक्ष संख्या-103 में गाजीपुर जिले के ग्राम मऊपारा देवकली निवासी अनूप सागर शामिल हुआ। उसके आधार वेरिफिकेशन प्रक्रिया में केवाईसी अपडेट न हो पाने के कारण डाटा का मिलान नहीं हो पा रहा था।

संदेह होने ने पर पूछताछ की गई तो गया उसने स्वयं को अनूप सागर बताया लेकिन जब परीक्षा केंद्र पर तैनात पुलिस बल की सहायता से सख्ती से पूछताछ की गई तो उसने अपना सही नाम विकास कुमार निवासी असनिया कुआं, थाना कदम कुआं, पटना (बिहार) बताया। अनूप सागर के स्थान पर फर्जी अभ्यर्थी बनकर परीक्षा में शामिल विकास कुमार ने यह भी बताया कि कुछ रुपयों के बदले उसने यह काम किया है।

शहर कोतवाली पुलिस ने मुकदमा दर्ज कर मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है।
