न्यूज हवेली नेटवर्क, लखनऊ : अप्रैल माह के आधा बीतने के साथ ही मौसम गर्म होने लगा है। उत्तर भारत में कई जगह अधिकतम तापमान 34 से 38 डिग्री सेल्सियस तक पहुंच रहा है। कई जगह लू का असर दिखने भी लगा है। भारतीय मौसम विभाग के अनुसार जब किसी जगह का स्थानीय तापमान लगातार तीन दिन वहां के सामान्य तापमान से तीन डिग्री सेल्सियस या अधिक बना रहे तो उसे लू या हीट वेव (heat wave) कहते हैं।
गर्मी के मौसम में उच्च तापमान में ज्यादा देर तक रहने से या गर्म हवा के झोंको के संपर्क में आने पर लू लगती है। अत्यधिक गर्म मौसम में सावधानी बरतकर आप लू से बच सकते हैं। हीट स्ट्रोक जीवन के लिए एक खतरनाक स्थिति है जिसमें आपका शरीर अत्यधिक गर्म हो जाता है और स्वस्थ तापमान बनाए नहीं रख पाता है। जब वातावरणीय तापमान 37 डिग्री सेल्सियस तक रहता है तो मानव शरीर पर इसका कोई दुष्प्रभाव नहीं पड़ता है परन्तु जैसे ही यह तापमान 40 डिग्री सेल्सियस या इससे अधिक बढ़ जाता है तो हमारा शरीर वातावरणीय गर्मी को शोषित करने लगता है। परिणामस्वरूप शरीर का तापमान प्रभावित होने लगता है। इसे कभी-कभी हाइपरथर्मिया (Hyperthermia) भी कहा जाता है। अंग्रेजी में इसे हीट वेव या सन स्ट्रोक भी कहते हैं। उत्तर प्रदेश के कई जिलों में प्रशासन की ओर से हीट स्ट्रोक (Heat stroke) या लू से बतने के लिए दिशा निर्देश जारी कर दिए गये हैं।

गर्म, लाल, शुष्क त्वचा का होना और लगातार पसीना आना। नब्ज अर्थात पल्स का तेजी से चलना। श्वास गति में अत्यधिक तेजी का हो जाना। व्यवहार में परिवर्तन यथा भ्रम की स्थिति पैदा होना। सिरदर्द, मितली, थकान, चक्कर आना और कमजोरी महसूस होना। मूत्र का कम होना अथवा न आना।
कब लगती है लू
गर्मी में शरीर के द्रव्य/बॉडी फ्ल्यूड सूखने लगता है। शरीर से पानी, नमक की कमी होने पर लू लगने का खतरा ज्यादा रहता है। शराब की लत, हृदय रोग, पुरानी बीमारी, मोटापा, अधिक उम्र, अनियंत्रित मधुमेह का होना इत्यादि कारक व्यक्ति को लू लगने की संभावना को बढ़ा देती है। ऐसी कुछ औषधियों जैसे डाययूरेटिक, एंटीस्टिमिनिक और मानसिक रोग की कुछ औषधियों भी मानव शरीर में लू (Heat stroke) लगने की संभावना को बढ़ा देती है। उच्च तापमान से शरीर के आंतरिक अंगों, विशेष रूप से मस्तिष्क को नुकसान पहुंचता है। शरीर में उच्च रक्तचाप उत्पन्न होता है। मनुष्य के हृदय के कार्य पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव उत्पन्न होता है। जो लोग एक या दो घंटे से अधिक समय तक 40.6 डि०से0, 105 डि०फो० या इससे अधिक तापमान अथवा गर्म हवा में रहते है, उनके मस्तिष्क में क्षति होने की संभावना प्रबल हो जाती है। हीट वेव की स्थिति शरीर की कार्य प्रणाली पर प्रभाव डालती है। हीट वेव से प्रभावित व्यक्ति की मृत्यु होने की भी संभावना हो सकती है।
हीट स्ट्रोक से बचने के उपाय (Ways to avoid heat stroke)
क्या करें : हीट वेव सम्बन्धी चेतावनी पर ध्यान दें। अधिक से अधिक पानी पियें। यदि प्यास नहीं भी हो तब भी थोड़ा-थोड़ा पानी पीते रहें। हल्के रंग के पसीना शोषित करने वाले ढीले वस्त्र पहनें। धूप के चश्में, छाता, टोपी व चप्पल का प्रयोग करें। यदि खुले में कार्य करने की आवश्कता हो तो सिर, चेहरा, हाथ और पैरों को कपड़े से ढक कर रहें तथा छतरी का प्रयोग करें। लू (Heat stroke) से प्रभावित व्यक्ति को छाया में लिटाकर सूती गीले कपड़े से पोंछे तथा चिकित्सक से संपर्क करें। यात्रा करते समय पीने का पानी साथ ले जायें। ओ0आर0एस0, घर में बने हुए पेय पदार्थ जैसे लस्सी, चावल का पानी, नींबू पानी, छाछ आदि का उपयोग करें, जिससे शरीर में पानी की कमी की भरपाई हो सके। हीट स्ट्रोक, हीट रैश, हीट कैम्प के लक्षणों जैसे कमजोरी, चक्कर आना, सिरदर्द, उबकाई, अधिक पसीना आना, मूर्छा आदि को पहचानें एवं आवश्यकता पड़ने पर चिकित्सक की सलाह लें। अपने घर को ठंडा रखें। पर्दे, दरवाजे आदि का प्रयोग करें तथा शाम के समय घर तथा कमरों के खिड़की-दरवाजें खोलकर रखें। पंखे, गीले कपड़ों का उपयोग करें तथा कई बार स्नान करें। कार्य स्थल पर ठंडा पेयजल रखें। कार्मिकों को सीधी सूर्य की रोशनी से बचने हेतु सावधान करें। श्रमसाध्य कार्यों को ठंडे समय में करने एवं कराने को प्राथमिकता दें। घर से बाहर होने की स्थिति में आराम करने की समयावधि तथा आवृत्ति को बढ़ायें। गर्भस्थ महिला कर्मियों तथा रोगग्रस्त कर्मियों पर अतिरिक्त ध्यान देना आवश्यक है। जानवरों को समय-समय पर पानी पिलाते रहें। खड़ी गाड़ी में जानवर को रखने के समय खिड़की के शीशे खोलकर ही रखें।
क्या न करें : छोटे बच्चों को कभी भी बंद अथवा खड़ी गाड़ियों में अकेला न छोड़ें। दोपहर 12 बजे से 03 बजे के मध्य सूर्य की रोशनी में जाने से बचें। सूर्य के तापमान से बचने के लिये जहां तक संभव हो घर के निचली मंजिल पर रहें। गहरे रंग के भारी तथा तंग कपड़े न पहनें। जब बाहर का तापमान अधिक हो तब श्रमसाध्य कार्य न करें। अधिक प्रोटीन तथा बासी एवं संक्रमित खाद्य एवं पेय पदार्थों का प्रयोग न करें। अल्कोहल, चाय व कॉफी पीने से परहेज करें। जानवरों को खुले में/बाहर खड़ी गाड़ी में रखें।
