नई पार्किंग पॉलिसी : उत्तर प्रदेश में रात के समय वाहन खड़ा करने पर देना होगा शुल्क

लखनऊ। उत्तर प्रदेश में वाहनों को रात के समय जहां-तहां सड़कों के किनारे खड़ा करना अब जेब पर भारी पड़ेगा। दरअसल, नगर विकास विभाग प्रदेश में नई पार्किंग पॉलिसी (UP’s new parking policy) लागू करने की तैयारी कर रहा है। इसमें ऐसा प्रावधान है जिसके अनुसार शहरों में सड़क किनारे रात के समय वाहन खड़ा करने पर पार्किंग शुल्क देना होगा। नगर विकास विभाग ने नई पार्किंग नीति लागू करने के लिए उत्तर प्रदेश नगर निगम अन्तिम नियमावली-2024 पर आपत्ति और सुझाव मांगे हैं।

नई पार्किंग नीति के मुताबिक, नगर निगम के अधिकार क्षेत्र (सार्वजनिक जगहों) में आने वाले स्थानों पर यदि कोई रात में वाहन खड़ा करता है तो उससे पार्किंग शुल्क लिया जाएगा। इतना ही नहीं, यदि कोई बिना परमिट के वाहन खड़ा करता है तो उससे तीन गुना शुल्क वसूल किया जाएगा। नगर निगन के अधिकार क्षेत्र वाले सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर खड़े होने वाले वाहनों से एक रात का 100 रुपये, साप्ताहिक 300, मासिक 1 हजार और वार्षिक 10 हजार रुपये पार्किंग शुल्क वसूला जाएगा।

प्रदेश में वाहन पार्किंग की स्पष्ट नीति न होने की वजह से मनमाने तरीके से पार्किंग टेंडर उठते रहते हैं जिसके चलते शहरों में अवैध पार्किंग की बाढ़ आ गई है। मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने पिछले दिनों नगर विकास विभाग को सुनियोजित पार्किंग के लिए नीति लाने का निर्देश दिया था।
