लखनऊ। झांसी के महारानी लक्ष्मी बाई मेडिकल कॉलेज के नवजात गहन चिकित्सा इकाई (एनआईसीयू) में आग लगने से 10 नवजात जिंदा जल गए जबकि 16 जिंदगी और मौत से जूझ रहे हैं। इस घटना को लेकर योगी आदित्यनाथ काफी सख्त मूड में लग रही है। मामले की जांच के लिए 4 सदस्यीय कमेटी गठित की गई जिसको 7 दिन में रिपोर्ट सौंपनी होगी। इसका नेतृत्व चिकित्सा शिक्षा एवं प्रशिक्षण महानिदेशक (डीजीएमई) करेंगे।
महारानी लक्ष्मी बाई मेडिकल के एनआईसीयू में शुक्रवार की रात शॉर्ट सर्किट के कारण आग लग गई थी। आग में जलकर 10 बच्चों की मौत हो गई जबकि 16 बच्चे गभीर घायल होकर जिंदगी और मौत से जूझ रहे हैं। जिस वार्ड में आग लगी, उसमें कुल 55 बच्चे थे। कुछ मीडिया रिपोर्टर्स में दावा किया जा रहा है कि शुक्रवार शाम करीब 5:00 बजे भी इस वार्ड में शॉर्ट सर्किट हुआ लेकिन स्टाफ ने उसे नजरअंदाज कर दिया। पहले शॉर्ट सर्किट को नजरअंदाज कर दिया गया और जब रात करीब 10:45 बजे दूसरा शॉर्ट सर्किट हुआ तो एनआईसीयू वार्ड में आग लग गई।
आग बुझाने के उपकरण एक्सपायर मिले
घटना के बाद के बाद बात अस्पताल प्रशासन की लापरवाही और अस्पताल में रखे आग बुझाने वाले उपकरण पर पहुंच गई। कुछ मीडिया रिपोर्टों में दावा किया गया है कि अस्पताल में आग बुझाने के उपकरण एक्सपायर हो गए थे और अलार्म खराब थे। इसके बाद उत्तर प्रदेश के उप मुख्यमंत्री बृजेश पाठक ने कहा, “योगी आदित्यनाथ सरकार बच्चों और उनके परिवारों के साथ खड़ी है। हमारे कर्मचारियों, डॉक्टरों और बचाव दल ने बच्चों को बचाने के लिए बहादुरी से काम किया है। मेडिकल कॉलेज में सभी अग्निशमन उपकरण पूरी तरह से ठीक थे। यहां फरवरी में अग्नि सुरक्षा ऑडिट किया गया था। जून में एक मॉक ड्रिल भी आयोजित की गई थी।”
मेडिकल कॉलेज के प्राचार्य डॉ. नरेंद्र सिंह सेंगर ने भी आरोपों को निराधार बताया। उन्होंने कहा, “मेडिकल कॉलेज में कुल 146 अग्निशामक यंत्र लगे हुए हैं। हादसे के वक्त एनआईसीयू वार्ड के अग्निशामक यंत्र का भी इस्तेमाल किया गया था। इन सभी उपकरणों का समय-समय पर ऑडिट भी किया जाता है। इस दौरान जो कमियां सामने आती हैं, उन्हें दूर कर दिया जाता है।”
