भुवनेश्वर। दिल्ली के आनन्द विहार रेलवे स्टेशन से पुरी जा रही नंदन कानन एक्सप्रेस पर मंगलवार को निशाना बनाकर फायरिंग की गई। ओडिशा के भद्रक और बौद्धपुर सेक्शन के बीच चरंपा रेलवे स्टेशन के निकट ट्रेन संख्या 12816 नंदन कानन एक्सप्रेस के गार्ड ब्रेक पर कम से कम दो राउंड फायरिंग की गई। इस गोलीबारी में किसी के हताहत होने की सूचना नहीं है। भारतीय रेलवे के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों ने जांच शुरू कर दी है।
यह घटना सुबह 9:45 बजे के आसपास हुई और इस संबंध में जानकारी खुर्दा रोड कोचिंग कंट्रोल से मिली।फायरिंग की घटना के बाद संबंधित अधिकारियों को सतर्क करने के लिए तत्काल कदम उठाए गए।
सरकारी रेलवे पुलिस सेवा (जीआरपीएस) और स्थानीय पुलिस के साथ निकटता से समन्वय करते हुए पीसी/आरपीएफ/जेजेकेआर को ट्रेन को देखने के निर्देश दिए गए जबकि पीसी/आरपीएफ/भद्रक को घटनास्थल पर पहुंचने का निर्देश दिया गया।
भारतीय रेलवे द्वारा जारी एक बयान में कहा गया कि रेलवे सुरक्षा बल (आरपीएफ) के जवानों ने नंदन कानन एक्सप्रेस को अपनी निगरानी में सुरक्षित पुरी तक पहुंचाया। साथ ही कहा कि मामले की जांच अब जीआरपी कर रही है। गोलीबारी क्यों की गई और उसके पीछे की मकसद और लक्ष्य अभी पता नहीं चल पाया है।
