News Haveli, लखनऊ। (Chandan Gupta murder case) उत्तर प्रदेश के कासगंज में 26 जनवरी 2018 (Kasganj riot 2018) को हुए दंगे में मारे गए चंदन गुप्ता की हत्या में शामिल 28 लोगों को लखनऊ की विशेष एनआईए अदालत ने दोषी करार दिया है। इस दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण दिन कासगंज में तिरंगा यात्रा निकाली जा रही थी। इसी दौरान दो गुटों के बीच विवाद हो गया। इसी दौरान अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद के कार्यकर्ता 20 साल के अभिषेक गुप्ता (Abhishek Gupta) उर्फ चंदन गुप्ता की गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई। बीकॉम फाइनल इयर का छात्र चंदन गुप्ता (Chandan Gupta) घर का सबसे छोटा बेटा था। इस घटना के बाद कासगंज हिंसा की आग में जल उठा था। कई वाहन और दुकानों में आग लगा दी गई। शहर में कई दिनों तक कर्फ्यू लगा रहा। करीब एक सप्ताह के बाद हालात सामान्य हुए थे। शुक्रवार को सभी दोषियों को सजा सुनाई जाएगी।
इस मामले में सलीम नाम के युवक को मुख्य आरोपी बनाया गया था। वहीं करीब 20 लोगों को नामजद किया गया था। चंदन एक सामाजिक संस्था चलाता था। उसके पिता सुशील गुप्ता कासगंज के एक अस्पताल में कंपाउंडर थे।
दरअसल, 26 जनवरी 2018 को कासगंज में तिरंगा यात्रा के दौरान हिंसा भड़क उठी थी। विश्व हिंदू परिषद (VHP) और हिंदू युवा वाहिनी के कार्यकर्ता तिरंगा और भगवा झंडे के साथ करीब 100 मोटरसाइकिलों पर सवार होकर यात्रा निकाल रहे थे। इसमें अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद (ABVP) के कार्यकर्ता चंदन गुप्ता भी शामिल थे। यात्रा के दौरान कुछ मुस्लिम युवकों के साथ झड़प हो गई। इस हिंसक झड़प में चंदन गुप्ता की गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई। चंदन की मौत के बाद कासगंज में हालात कई दिनों तक खराब थे। करीब एक सप्ताह तक दंगे हुए थे।
चंदन गुप्ता की हत्या के मामले की जांच शुरू की गई और बाद में इसे एनआईए को सौंप दिया गया। एनआईए ने अपनी जांच में पाया कि हत्या एक साजिश के तहत की गई थी जिसमें कई आरोपी शामिल थे। इस मामले में कुल 28 आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया था जिनमें से कई पर हत्या, दंगा, और साम्प्रदायिक उन्माद फैलाने का आरोप था। लखनऊ की एनआईए कोर्ट ने जांच के आधार पर 28 आरोपियों को दोषी ठहराया है।
तिरंगा यात्रा में हुई इस हत्या मामले में आज गुरुवार को फैसले का दिन था। इस हत्याकांड में शामिल 28 आरोपियों को दोषी पाया गया है जबकि 2 आरोपियों को बरी कर दिया गया है। दोषी ठहराए गए आरोपियों की सजा कल 3 जनवरी को तय हो जाएगी। एनआईए कोर्ट में सभी आरोपियों को तलब किया था। आरोपियों ने हाई कोर्ट में एनआईए कोर्ट की सुनवाई पर रोक की याचिका लगाई थी लेकिन हाई कोर्ट की लखनऊ बेंच ने आरोपियों की अर्जी खारिज कर दी थी।
