News Havel, मेरठ। फर्जी स्टांप (Fake Stamp) पर 997 बैनामे कर सरकार को करीब 10 करोड़ रुपये राजस्व का नुकसान पहुंचाने के मास्टरमाइंड अधिवक्ता विशाल वर्मा (Vishal Verma) को आखिरकार गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। उस पर 25 हजार रुपये का इनाम घोषित था। उसके 2 कर्मचारी पहले ही पकड़े जा चुके हैं।
उत्तर प्रदेश के स्टांप और न्यायालय शुल्क एवं पंजीयन मंत्री रवींद्र जायसवाल को 2023 में मेरठ में हुए 2 बैनामों की शिकायत मिली थी। आरोप था कि बैनामों में लगाए गए स्टांप फर्जी (Fake Stamp) हैं। मंत्री के निर्देश पर जांच शुरू हुई। दोनों बैनामों में लगे स्टांप फर्जी मिलने पर पिछले 3 साल के बैनामों की जांच शुरू की गई। उस जांच में जो सच्चाई सामने आई उसने राजस्व और कोषागार अधिकारियों के होश उड़ा दिए।
रिकवरी नोटिस पर भड़क गए थे व्यापारी
सिविल लाइन थाने में मुकदमा दर्ज कराया। एडीएम वित्त कार्यालय व रजिस्ट्री विभाग ने रजिस्ट्री कराने वालों को अर्थदंड के साथ रिकवरी का नोटिस भेजना शुरू कर दिया। इसे लेकर पीड़ित व्यापारी भड़क गए और हंगामा किया। पीड़ित व्यापारियों ने डीएम-एसएसपी सहित अन्य अधिकारियों से रिकवरी के नोटिस पर रोक लगाने की मांग की।
एसएसपी ने विशाल पर घोषित किया 25 हजार का इनाम
एक के बाद एक पांच मुकदमे हुए जिसमें पुलिस ने विवेचना में मुख्य आरोपी विशाल वर्मा निवासी सम्राट कॉलोनी, सिविल लाइन का नाम शामिल किया गया। एसएसपी ने दो महीने पहले उस पर 25 हजार का रुपये का इनाम घोषित कर दिया। शासन के प्राक्कलन समिति ने पुलिस-प्रशासन की कार्रवाई असंतोष बताकर नाराजगी जताई थी।
कई अधिकारी-कर्मचारियों की भूमिका होने का अंदेशा
पिछले सप्ताह रजिस्ट्री विभाग के अधिकारियों की बैठक हुई। फिर सिविल लाइन थाने में विशाल वर्मा और उसके कार्यालय में कार्यरत राहुल वर्मा पुत्र राजू वर्मा निवासी रिठानी और राहुल वर्मा पुत्र महेश वर्मा निवासी प्रवेश विहार मेडिकल के खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया। तीन दिन पहले विशाल के दोनों कर्मचारियों को पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया। गुरुवार को पुलिस ने मुख्य आरोपी विशाल वर्मा को भी गिरफ्तार कर लिया।
पुलिस के अनुसार विशाल ने स्टांप घोटाले (Stamp Scam) में कोषागार और रजिस्ट्री विभाग के अधिकारियों की भूमिका बताई है। गुरुवार देर रात तक पुलिस ने उससे पूछताछ करती रही। उसके मोबाइल फोन की भी जांच की।
इस स्टांप घोटाले (Meerut Stamp Scam) में कई सरकारी अधिकारी-कर्मचारियों के भी शामिल होने का अंदेशा जताया जा रहा है।
