New Traffic Rules 2024 : नए कानून के अनुसार वाहन चलाते समय अगर आपसे कोई दुर्घटना हो जाती है और उस दुर्घटना में किसी व्यक्ति की मृत्यु हो जाती है तो आपको 10 साल की सजा हो सकती है। इससे पहले पुराने कानून में दो साल की सजा और जुर्माने का प्रावधान था।
नई दिल्ली। भारत दुनिया के उन देशों में शामिल है जहां जनसंख्या और वाहनों के अनुपात में सर्वाधिक सड़क दुर्घटनाएं होती हैं। हालात इस कदर खराब हैं कि साल 2022 में भारत में कुल 4,61,312 मार्ग दुर्घटनाएं हुईं। इन हादसों में 1,68,491 लोगों ने अपनी जान गंवाई और कुल 4,43,366 लोग घायल हुए। केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्रालय की हाल ही में जारी “भारत में सड़क दुर्घटनाएं- 2022” नाम से एक रिपोर्ट में बताया गया है कि साल 2021 की तुलना में मार्ग दुर्घटनाओं में 11.9 प्रतिशत और इन दुर्घटनाओं में हुई मौत में 9.4 प्रतिशत की बढ़ोतरी हुई। केंद्र सरकार द्वारा इसके मद्देनजर संसद में नए ट्रैफिक नियमों को लेकर कानून पास किया गया है जो एक जून 2024 से लागू हो चुका है।
नए कानून के अनुसार वाहन चलाते समय अगर आपसे कोई दुर्घटना हो जाती है और उस दुर्घटना में किसी व्यक्ति की मृत्यु हो जाती है तो आपको 10 साल की सजा हो सकती है। इससे पहले पुराने कानून में दो साल की सजा और जुर्माने का प्रावधान था। नए नियमों के अनुसार दुर्घटना में मृत्यु हो जाने पर 10 साल की सजा और गैर इरादतन हत्या का आरोप लगा सकता है।
हिट एंड रन के मामले में नए ट्रैफिक नियमों के अनुसार सात लाख रुपये का जुर्माने का प्रावधान किया है। अगर दुर्घटना होने पर घायल व्यक्ति को नजदीकी पुलिस स्टेशन या अस्पताल पहुंचाया जा सके तो ऐसे में आपकी सजा कम की जा सकती है लेकिन अगर दुर्घटना होने के बाद आप घायल व्यक्ति को वहीं छोड़कर भाग जाते हैं तो आपको 10 साल की सजा होने के साथ ही जुर्माना अलग से लगेगा।
नये यातायात नियम 2024 (New Traffic Rules 2024)
- नए कानून के तहत ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस नियमों का उल्लंघन करने पर एक लाख रुपये केजुर्माने का प्रावधान किया गया है|
- नये नियम अनुसार तेज रफ्तार से सड़क पर गाड़ी चलाने पर 1000 से ₹2000 का जुर्माना होगा।
- सड़क सुरक्षा नियम के तहत अगर कोई नाबालिक गाड़ी चलाता हुआ पकड़ा जाता है तो उसे ₹25000 का जुर्माना देना होगा और उसकी गाड़ी का रजिस्ट्रेशन रद्द किया जाएगा।
- नियम उल्लंघन करने पर बालक या बालिका का ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस 25 साल की उम्र तक नहीं बन पाएगा।
- नए नियमों अनुसार ड्राइविंग करते समय मोबाइल फोन पर बात करने पर जुर्माना देना होगा।
- ट्रैफिक जाम करने गलत दिशा में ड्राइव करने खतरनाक ड्राइविंग करने वालों को भारी जुर्माना देना होगा।
- नये नियमों के तहत अब अगर कोई नशे में ड्राइविंग करता है तो उसे 10 हजार रुपये का जुर्माना साथ ही 6 महीने की जेल का प्रावधान है. वही इस केस में दोबारा पकड़े जाने पर 15 हजार रुपये का जुर्माना तो वहीं दो साल की जेल हो सकती है। इसके साथ ही अगर कोई बिना ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस के गाड़ी चलाता हुआ पकड़ा जाता है तो उसको पांच हजार रुपये का चालान भरना पड़ेगा।
- अगर कोई वाहन चलाते वक्त सिग्नल जंप करके जाता है. तो उसको एक हजार रुपये से लेकर पांच हजार रुपये तक का जुर्माना भरना पड़ सकता है। साथ ही छह महीने या एक साल तक की जेल भी हो सकती है।
दो पहिया वाहन चालान के नियम (Two wheeler challan rules)
- दो पहिया वाहन चलाते समय हेलमेट लगाना जरूरी है।
- दो पहिया वाहन पर पीछे बैठे व्यक्ति के लिए भी हेलमेट लगाना जरूरी है।
- दो पहिया वाहन चलाते समय जूते पहनना आवश्यक है। अगर कोई व्यक्ति चप्पल पहन कर मोटरसाइकिल चलाता पकड़ा जाता है तो ₹1000 का जुर्माना देना होगा।
- दो पहिया वाहन चालक के पास ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस होना आवश्यक है।
· वाहन का प्रदूषण सर्टिफिकेट (PUC certificate) भी होना आवश्यक है। बिना इसके वाहन चलाने पर 10 हजार रुपये का चालान काटा जा सकता है। मोटर व्हीकल एक्ट में इसका प्रावधान है और जब भी PUC certificate एक्सपायर हो तो इसे तुरंत बनाना जरूरी है।
- अगर कोई व्यक्ति शराब पीकर वाहन चलाता है तो उसे सजा भी हो सकती है।

एक जून 2024 से लागू हुए नए परिवहन नियम (New Driving License Rules 2024 के बाद ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस (Driving licence Apply) लेने के लिए सिर्फ आरटीओ में ही टेस्ट देने की अनिवार्यता खत्म करप दी गई है। यानी अब ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस टेस्ट पास करने में ज्यादा झंझट नहीं होगा। आप सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त विशेष निजी संस्थानों में भी ड्राइविंग टेस्ट (Driving licence Test) दे सकते हैं। इससे ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस बनवाना आसान हो जाएगा।
