News Havel, लखनऊ। (CRPF jawan shoots himself) उत्तर प्रदेश की राजधानी लखनऊ में केंद्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल (CRPF) बटालियन में एक जवान (CRPF jawan) ने खुद को गोली मारकर आत्महत्या कर ली। वह बिहार के छपरा जिले का रहने वाला था।
प्राथमिक सूचना के अनुसार, आशियाना थाने की सीआरपीएफ बटालियन में 36 वर्षीय सीआरपीएफ जवान उपेंद्र कुमार (Upendra Kumar) ने इंसास राइफल से खुद को गोली मारी। घटना की सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस और फोरेंसिक टीम मौके पर पहुंची गई। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लिया है और आत्महत्या के कारणों का पता लगाया जा रहा है।
पुलिस ने बताया कि 93वीं बटालियन सीआरपीएफ में संतरी ड्यूटी पर तैनात एक जवान उपेन्द्र कुमार सिंह पुत्र पारसनाथ, निवासी लखपुरवा रसूलपुर, जनपद छपरा, बिहार ने अपने सर्विस राइफल से खुद को को गोली मार ली। उसे तुरंत सीआरपीएफ द्वारा लोकबन्धु हॉस्पिटल ले जाया गया। वहां से उसे मेडिकल कॉलेज के ट्रामा सेंटर रेफर कर दिया गया जहां पर इलाज के दौरान उपेन्द्र कुमार की मृत्यु हो गयी। सूचना मिलते ही सहायक पुलिस आयुक्त, कैन्ट और आशियाना थाना प्रभारी घटनास्थल पर पहुंच गए। फोरेंसिक टीम भी मौके पर पहुंच गई और साक्ष्य जुटाए।
